In 2003 I got together with Ben Reed from the Boise YMCA and created “Junior Stampede Basketball.” It’s a league for 6th and 7th graders in Boise who aren’t playing AAU ball. The kids received game tickets and once a season played at halftime of a Stampede home game. My neice, Gwennie, played Junior Stampede Basketball last season. She’s on the RED team in this video, pulling down a rebound and clearing the ball at the end of the clip.

The Idaho Stampede basketball club is based in Boise, Idaho, and plays in the NBA Development League. John Brunelle has been part-owner of the Stampede since 2001, and he served as President /GM of the club for five years (2001-2006). This is his collection of "random Stampede stuff."
